First thanks for all your great posts. Sorry but I have to ask a very very basic question. If I am going to start a blog that I want to monetize, should I use a wordpress blog? Should I set it up myself or have someone do it for me?
One year from now I am startiing a new journey in life – retirement/new beginings at age 50 and thought I would enjoy blogging and helping others with similar goals.

Thanks for the list. I just had a big scare with my sites down for over two days from a hacker attack on my hosting companie’s servers.
