Onsite SEO refers to the steps that you can take to optimize the content on your blog to increase your search engine rankings. Onsite SEO is active, and involves factors that are completely in your control to optimize. Inversely , offsite SEO refers to all the other methodologies that don’t involve your own content that you can undertake to enhance your blog’s ranking in the search engines.

Which One Is More Important?

Of the two, offsite SEO is far more important, as it relies on social proof, or the assumption that if others link to your blog, your blog is more important.  The most significant offsite SEO activity that your can perform is getting backlinks to your blog. Also this is a valid presumption that works incredibly well for finding helpful content on the web. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that you should ignore onsite SEO.

I bet you are already using All In One SEO Plugin. The good thing is Platinum SEO pack is capable of importing all your existing All In One SEO settings. You only need to verify the settings through Setting->Platinum SEO page of your WordPress blog. Even though it is compatible with the older versions of WordPress, I higly recommend you to use the plugin always with the latest version of WordPress.

How To Install Platinum SEO Plugin into Your WordPress Blog:

• Download Platinum SEO Plugin from WordPress plugins directory
• Unzip the files into your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
• If you are currently using All In One SEO, don’t forget to deactivate it. Remember your current All In One SEO settings will be imported to Platinum SEO.
• Go to Plugins menu, and activate Platinum SEO.
• Go to Settings>Platinum SEO, and make necessary adjustments.

This plugin will save significant amount of time when compared to All In One SEO. The only thing you need to consider will be tagging. The rest of the SEO task will be completed by this innovative WordPress plugin.
