When it comes to making money online with a blog, one of the most popular methods is contextual advertising. Text or image ads are shown which match the content of the pages. Ads appear in small boxes. Contextual ads are often displayed to the right or left of website copy, or as blocks within sections of the text. The ads shown are related to the content of each individual page. As visitors click on these links, you make money.
Probably the largest and most used of the contextual ad programs is Google’s Adsense. Google really is a giant when it comes to the Internet, and their talents go far beyond just being a search engine. Adsense is used by many site owners to bring in a monthly income. While Google Adsense is still the king of contextual advertising, there are a few good alternatives. A good and popular example is Chitika ads. Read the rest of this entry »

Google Adsense is still the best Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising program for bloggers. However, many bloggers can not generate high revenue from it because they don’t really care about the keywords. You need the right keywords to get the right ads. Find the highest paying Google Adsense keywords by searching the best keyword selection tools, and use them in your posts. This will eventually increase your Adsense income.
What is a Keyword?
Keywords are the words which people are using on search engines to find things they are looking for. Advertisers always use keywords to advertise on blogs and websites. They buy the keywords via Google Adwords, and display their ads on blogs or websites which are using Google Adsense. The most important part is, the ads appearing on your blog will depend on the keywords you use in your posts.
How To Increase the Adsense Revenue?
Where To Find High Paid Keywords?
You should refer below keyword selection tools:
High Paid Keyword Examples
- health insurance
- insurance car
- auto insurance
- car insurance cheap
- insurance travel
- travel insurance
Conclusion:
Believe it or not, there are some keywords paying $70 per click. Targeting high paid keywords is a good way of increasing your Google Adsense revenue. Keyword density is also very important. Do not overuse the high paid keywords in your blog posts. Unfortunately, there’s no golden rule for putting the right number of keywords in a blog post. You’ll have to experiment.

Make money blogging is not all about affiliate marketing, Google Adsense, paid reviews or selling your links. The ultimate target should be selling and promoting your own products using your blog, and evolve as an Internet entrepreneur throughout the time. I have taken the necessary steps to become an Internet entrepreneur with the Bloghology Blogging Magazine and Social Network for bloggers. I would like to share some of the experiences I learned so far, thus I opened another category in my blog entitled “Startup”. Beginning from this week I will be sharing my experiences with Internet entrepreneurs who are struggling for their Internet start-up projects.
Change The World With Your Project
One thing common in all successful online projects is that they change the world from upside down. Take a look at Google. They brought a new meaning to Internet search, and surpassed their competitors in a few years time.
Lesson to be learned from Google: If you make meaning, you will make good money. So as an entrepreneur you should test your own project before you fall in love with it.
Ask this simple question to yourself “Does my project make a meaning to a targeted group of people?”
The Key Ingredients for Internet Success
- Make meaning
- Get going (even if there is a financial crisis)
- Think different from your competitors
- Find a few soul mates, become partners with them, understand that its not a one man show
- Clearly define your business model, be specific
- Put milestones for the project
- Understand your potential customers needs
- Make a short presentation preferably with 10-12 slides maximum
- Work with the people who may voluntarily work with you, influenced by your project
- Have some test drivers at the beginning
- Don’t let negative people change your mind or direction
I will go into details of these later. But first, I would like to check with you, if there is anything you would like to add my list?

Probably you have heard DMOZ before. DMOZ is an open directory project maintained by human moderators. In other words, all the links included in DMOZ is manually accepted by a human being in order to keep quality high.
The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors.
There are nearly 75,000 human editors at DMOZ, nearly 600,000 categories and 4 million included sites. It means if you get your blog into DMOZ, the search engine spiders will find your blog and index it. It is the easiest way to get your site indexed in the search engines. However you may not expect to happen quickly. Also there is no guarantee for that.
Tips For Submitting Your Blog To DMOZ
You should be careful before submitting your blog to DMOZ. There are some requirements for your blog to be accepted into DMOZ. If your blog is a brand new one, chances are it will not be accepted.
1) You need to have some good content in your blog. Suppose that a human moderator from DMOZ visits your page and finds nothing except some links and Google Adsense ads on it. No way out! Don’t expect your blog to accepted by DMOZ if this is the case. You should have at least 20 published articles in your blog. Your blog must be at least 1 month old. Otherwise the human moderator will reject your approval.
2) You should submit to the best category in DMOZ that matches your blog topic. Be careful not to submit for more than one category. This may ban you from ever getting into DMOZ.
The best idea is to select the best category, complete the DMOZ submission process and then walk away. You may check back in a month or so if you made it but other than that leave it alone – it’s simply not worth spending much time on.
