RSS

Nowadays RSS really counts. You make a very good first impression when you have so many RSS subscribers. It shows the quality and popularity of your blog. There is a subliminal perception by most of your first time visitors that your blog is worth reading if you have, say, 100+ RSS readers.

There are some proven techniques you can apply to increase your RSS readers. It takes time and patience to increase your RSS subscribers. Nevertheless what if i tell you it is possible to triple your RSS subscribers overnight?

Thanks to Aweber / Feedburner integration, your email lists on Aweber which are using the blog broadcast feature from your RSS feeds gets displayed on Feedburner’s total statistic count.

How I Realized This?

I joined Aweber two months ago to generate an opt in form for bloghology.org and collect participants contact details. It was going very well, thanks to superior service provided by Aweber.

One day i woke up early in the morning and checked my Feedburner stats. The day before there was only 110 members, but that day Feedburner showed 262 RSS subscribers:

Feedburner

I thought it was an internal problem related to Feedburner. I decided to check the next day so that they could fix the problem.

24 hours left, but it was showing the same RSS subscribers. I started to think that it was just my luck that i got so many RSS subscribers in one day.

Until i read Aweber / Feedburner Integration is Good News For Marketers and I Don’t Really Have 34,015 RSS Subscribers, i was still thinking the same.

Conclusion

It is indeed a very smart move by Aweber. Even though i pay $19.95 per month for Aweber, i am very happy to see the positive outcome i get from it since the beginning. Aweber not only helps me build my own email list, but also improves my RSS count stats.

Looking back, i am proud of giving the right decision to sign up with Aweber. What a good investment i made for just $19,95 per month! I hit two birds with one stone (a Turkish idiom)
