If you want to make money with your blog, the easiest method you can try is affiliate marketing. First you need to find out which blog posts are the most popular, and getting the highest steady traffic. After identifying your most popular blog posts, you should look for relevant affiliate programs that you can place their banners or text links on these posts.

So many people ask me whether I really make money with blogging or not. I am telling them that If you already spend a fair amount of time blogging, money comes to you literally as soon as you ask for it. Once you have an established blog with a regular readership, it is easy to make steady income through advertising and affiliate marketing. By hosting sponsored banners or links, you can make money from your hobby almost overnight.

You will find so many bloggers in the blogosphere who write about “How They Make 6 Figure Income”, but rarely share their key secrets and strategy. You will read about their fancy life style, expensive cars, vacations, etc.

Some of these might be inspirational especially for the newcomers. However, they rarely add any value to bloggers. They make good money by selling the dream of making a fortune online. At the end of the day they make more money, while majority of the bloggers can not exceed 50$ per month.

• Thanks to Louis Liem we are starting our blogging lessons in October issue. Louis has written a great article on blog foundations. The title is “Blogging Foundations – Getting Started”. As an established blogger I also noticed a few things I overlooked while reading his article.
• Ann Smarty has written two great articles on social media/bookmarking, and a very important tip on getting your readers subscribe to your blog. You will find them as “A guide to Submitting to Blog Directories”, “How To Do Keyword and Niche Research with Social Media Sites“, and “Short Tip: Get Your Visitors to Subscribe to Your Blog”
• I reviewed Shaun Taylor’s “Blogging in Action” training package for bloggers. I made my review based on some certain criteria. We will continue reviewing blog mentoring programs especially for start-up bloggers.
