Social Bookmarking is a powerful way of promoting your blog. Yet it takes significant amount of time to submit your posts to each and every social bookmarking site. Until I found SocialMarker, I also spent a lot of time while submitting my blog posts to social bookmarking sites.
Today it takes 15-20 minutes to submit my articles to more than 45 social bookmarking site. The good thing is those social bookmarking sites are categorized as all, best, bookmarking, news, and dofollow.
Most probably you already know that when you submit your posts to a dofollow site or blog, you got backlinks which helps your blog ranked better in the search engine results. So this basically lets people spam sites like digg and stumbleupon with their links. Just what we need. The point of these sites is to truly interact with the community, not just promote your blog and not give anything back in return.
I like the personal touch of interacting with people… you know… being “social”! If submitting to 47 different ones at a time, makes more friends for me, I’m willing to give it a try. Thanks for the post!
@why: Why not? People can still spam those sites without SocialMarker. I am not suggesting my readers to submit all their crabs to those sites. Good content is one of the best weapon of bloggers. I always suggest them to write good quality content. Actually not only the bloggers, but also Hilary-Obama supporters spamed sites like Digg quite long time.
On the other hand, I would like to thank you because I did not look from that perspective.

Like you said, the key is content. If I have great content then I do not hesitate to use SocialMarker. Self promotion does not necessarily equal spam.
I also like using SocialPoster, they have a few different DoFollow sites.(Although their site was down today).

I’ve been using Social Marker for, it’s pretty easy to use and it does save me lots of time compare to submitted the post manually. And the best part: it’s free
The other competitor for SM is Post Toaster, it has more sites than SM, but it’s more ‘manual’. Some of the sites at PT has to be submitted manually, so it takes more time than SM.

Social Marker in 15 – 20 minutes? I’d like to see you make a video on that to prove it. Many of the 40 sites you mention are slow as molasses and won’t allow you to post this fast. It’s a good tool, granted – I just think you’re exaggerating a tad.

I have try social bookmarking before
but not so effective
To get more result in social bookmarking, i would say you need to provide a very unique, niche article to link baiting.
therefore, i prefer some easy way like submit directory
just some time consuming, but it free and easy and grab lot backlink in short run
maybe can spend some money to some directory services pro to handle it with a cheap price.
I’m always into discussions on anything organic, so this read made me feel at home.

The Socializer allows you to easily submit a link to several social bookmarking systems. Instead of having a link to each social bookmarking website.

I was investigating to see if Social Bookmarking Submission service was something I wanted to try for my new site.
do I need to have an account on each of those social bookmarking sites? do i need to login each on those social bookmarking sites?
It’s a useful tool for submitting to many sites. The only issue I have with it is that some of the sites load very slow and sometimes it times out, which is quite annoying. I’m looking for an alternative solution to do this.
Now they have come with paid service, with you can submit your stories to 160 different social bookmarking sites! Has anybody purchased it? I would love to hear the review of it.
@rhyan, Yes social bookmarking site are required to create accounts for future reference. Without this method it would be no reference to the spamming method.
I have been using this software today for the first time. I really like the ease of use, but I still want to wait to see the results come in. Does it still submit your site to stumbleupon? I dont see it in the new list.

Social Marker is a nifty little tool but hopefully Google will not downgrade its use in someway as many automated tools often do…like bookmarking demon. So far so good however.
