I thank sandbox effect is the result of a minor penalty for new blogs and non-guidelines compliant websites.

For me, sandbox is similar to penalty.

Great Information. I think people are experience sandbox effects of 1 to 3 months most common being 1 month.

I don’t think the sandbox is a myth.

I recently started a new blog http://www.iambored.co.za
After about a month I had a good amount of traffic, and I was ranking number 3 for the search “I am bored” But since this weekend, I have had no Search engine traffic, and I don’t rank within the first 10 pages of a Google search.

If that’s not sand boxed, then I don’t know what is.
