This time I will introduce you the Platinum SEO Plugin. The plugin offers all the features of All In One Seo Plugin plus more. Platinum SEO not only automates SEO for WordPress blogs, but also provides an onsite SEO solution.
I bet you are already using All In One SEO Plugin. The good thing is Platinum SEO pack is capable of importing all your existing All In One SEO settings. You only need to verify the settings through Setting->Platinum SEO page of your WordPress blog. Even though it is compatible with the older versions of WordPress, I higly recommend you to use the plugin always with the latest version of WordPress.
This plugin generates all SEO relevant META tags automatically. One more thing it automatically does for you is avoiding duplicate content. The plugin supports NOODP & NOYDIR robots meta tags.
How To Install Platinum SEO Plugin into Your WordPress Blog:
- Download Platinum SEO Plugin from WordPress plugins directory
- Unzip the files into your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
- If you are currently using All In One SEO, don’t forget to deactivate it. Remember your current All In One SEO settings will be imported to Platinum SEO.
- Go to Plugins menu, and activate Platinum SEO.

This plugin will save significant amount of time when compared to All In One SEO. The only thing you need to consider will be tagging. The rest of the SEO task will be completed by this innovative WordPress plugin.

nice, I’ve never heard of that particular plugin… thanks for explaining the details. Since I use the Thesis theme, from my understanding, I don’t really need to use any extra SEO plugins because the my theme’s design takes care of that. What have you heard about certain themes, because of their markup, improve SEO results? Thanks!
@ Miguel : Content and tags are the king when it comes to SEO for blogs. A SEO friendly theme is good of course, but it is just for the start. You need to add fresh content on daily basis so that you have good rankings at search engines.
I’m finding HeadSpace2 much better than Platinum SEO.
