it does not necessarily have to be comments. you can even update content on a page and search engines will count it as “Updated content” and your website will jump in “freshness” in Google/yahoo index.
@Shamim: You are absolutely right. But we are talking about improving your blog’s SEO without even updating content by receiving a lot of comments on daily basis.
I have installed the plugin and found my key, but then I can’t find an Options menu. Where should it be?

Options menu is working on Firefox 3.0, Windows XP. But there is a problem on linux distros suck as ubuntu, kubuntu. I’m going to fix it tonight so the new version ot the plugin will be realesed in 1 or 2 days.

Option menu bug is fixed. you can download it from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-friendfeed-comments/ 1 hour later.
The plug-in posts a link in FriendFeed. So someone has to click that link and visit the web page to read it. Then if that guy wants to leave a comment I think he will leave the comment in the blog post. I can’t think of a reason he want to leave a comment on friendfeed. I’m not a heavy user of Friendfeed so I may be not aware of how people use Friendfeed so I may be wrong.
@ Nishadha: If you use FriendFeed regularly you will notice that some links are getting 20 or more comments. Imagine those 20+ comments will appear in your blog as comments to your post.

Something isn’t working yet: it gives this error to me.
Cannot load wp_friendfeed_comments/wp_friendfeed_comments.php.
@Enrico : After downloading last version of the plugin from here, delete the wp_ff_comments directory in wp-content/plugins folder then upload wordpress-friendfeed-comments directory to wp-content/plugins folder. Then reactivate the plugin from your plugins page in admin panel. You are getting this error because when you were using previous version of the plugin you updated it to 0.6 version. but in 0.6 version plugin directory is changed to wordpress-friendfeed-comments from wp_friendfeed_comments. When you reactivate the plugin wordpress will update plugin’s path as wordpress-friendfeed-comments/wp_friendfeed_comments.php

I tried Friend Feed in a fresh WordPRess 2.6.2 installation on my (fresh reinstalled) local lamp server.
I cleaned all cookies, session, cache, all
It still gives this error:

FriendFeed version was a redownloaded 0.5 from the link you gave in your comment.
I think this is a great plugin.
It may defeat the top commentators plugin.
