The most popular bloggers are very good at copywriting. As a blogger, even if you don’t name yourself as problogger, you are still selling your readers with your words and writing style. Your blog headlines must be compelling so that your readers buy, and continue reading the full post.
Most of the time our visitors are coming from a feed aggregator like Feedburner. They rarely visit your blog directly to check your latest posts. If your headlines do not get their attention, you can not generate enough page views.

Most of the bloggers start their first blog with the free blogging services like Blogger, WordPress, MovabalType, and LiveJournal. A few months later they usually realize that it is much better to have their own domain with a blogging platform.
It was not so easy to move blog posts and comments from one blogging service to another since the beginning. Bearing this in mind, Google Data Liberation team has released a new open source project called as Google Blog Converters on January 9, 2009. This new project provides the ability to move blog posts and comments from service to service. Currently this project converts between the export formats of Blogger, WordPress, MovableType, LiveJournal. You may download Google Blog Converters 1.0 if you want to move your blog to another service.
This is a great news for the bloggers. It will certainly make a positive impact on blogging in 2009.

Google Adsense is still the best Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising program for bloggers. However, many bloggers can not generate high revenue from it because they don’t really care about the keywords. You need the right keywords to get the right ads. Find the highest paying Google Adsense keywords by searching the best keyword selection tools, and use them in your posts. This will eventually increase your Adsense income.
What is a Keyword?
Keywords are the words which people are using on search engines to find things they are looking for. Advertisers always use keywords to advertise on blogs and websites. They buy the keywords via Google Adwords, and display their ads on blogs or websites which are using Google Adsense. The most important part is, the ads appearing on your blog will depend on the keywords you use in your posts.
How To Increase the Adsense Revenue?
- Search and find the high paid keywords
- Target high paid keywords by using them in your blog post
Where To Find High Paid Keywords?
You should refer below keyword selection tools:
High Paid Keyword Examples
- health insurance
- insurance car
- auto insurance
- car insurance cheap
- insurance travel
- travel insurance
Believe it or not, there are some keywords paying $70 per click. Targeting high paid keywords is a good way of increasing your Google Adsense revenue. Keyword density is also very important. Do not overuse the high paid keywords in your blog posts. Unfortunately, there’s no golden rule for putting the right number of keywords in a blog post. You’ll have to experiment.

In my post How to Write A Blog Post With Lightning Speed I showed you some techniques to shorten your writing time. For a better coverage of fast writing, you shall refer Stephan Miller’s How to Write Fast – From Various Sources.
At this stage, I would like to introduce you How to Write a Better Weblog style guide which was written in 2002.
Apparently, good blog writing shares some points with good general writing, and this great guide advises, humor, style, and simplicity. When it comes to content creation, How to Write a Better Weblog advises making the effort to find original and unique ideas instead of commenting on the same issue everyone else is already commenting on.
I have copied this piece from the guide, because it is inspirational and encouraging:
“No matter what your audience size, you ought to write as if your readership consisted of paid subscribers whose subscriptions were perpetually about to expire. There’s no need to pander. Compel them to resubscribe.”
Always remember this quote when blogging. Make it your blogging motto from now on. You will feel the difference sooner or later.

Most bloggers hate to talk about such a depressing topic, but the Google Sandbox is a real fact. In this post you will find the key facts about the Google Sandbox, and what to do in case you find your blog is in the Google Sandbox.
What is the Google Sandbox?
The Google Sandbox is a filter placed on new blogs or websites by Google. This filter prevents a new blog from rising very quickly in the search rankings, regardless the amount of the unique posts, and the number of inbound links.

Have I told before that it only takes me 30 minutes to write a 500 word article? If you are a serious blogger, you should always find ways to shorten your article writing time. This post will show you how to accomplish this by following a simple methodology.
As a problogger, I have to deliver one article per day to keep my blog’s traffic and subscribers going up. I have already written 320 posts for my blog. If I spent 3 hours for each one, I would not have enough time to promote my blog, and develop good relationship with other bloggers.
