Why Should You Launch Your Own Blogging Product In 2009?

product launch

Did you know that every single day around 16,000 new WordPress blogs are launched? Some of these are from existing bloggers, but most of them are launched by the newcomers. The competition is getting tough day by day. It is not as easy as it was before to make money with blogs. What to do now? My suggestion: launch your own blogging product and sell it in 2009. I am not kidding. I am really serious. Survey your readers, ask them one by one to find a blogging product that will resolve a real problem related with blogging. This can be an e-book about a specific blogging topic, or if you are good at programming, you can launch a better product than Expert WordPress. How about me? I already started developing my own blogging product. Please be patient. Soon I will let you know about it. I hear you saying, “how come I create my own product? I did not even know how to promote a product”. Well, here are a few guidelines you can refer:

Even if you can not launch your own product this year, you will start dreaming of launching one in the future.

  1. Thanks for this Mert – your article is certainly encouraging.

These statistics are amazing! I also read somewhere that about 175,000 new blogs are created everyday too (not just word press blogs) – so it is hard to stand out in the crowd. It can be easy to become disillusioned abut succeeding online.

So I like your perspective and your solution re: new products. It is often said the best way to succeed is to have your own product, and combine that with blogging – wow! We all have expertise in some areas, just need to find it, build on it :-)

And there certainly appears to be a ‘new’ market opening up with the new bloggers – rather than looking at all that ‘competition’ in a negative way, its great to see how it can be turned to an opportunity, as a ‘win-win’ for everyone.

    So, thank you :-)
    Thanks for the links too.
Looking forward to finding out more about your new product too
    :-)
