About The Next Google PageRank Update

My SEO team advised that the next Google PageRank update will be completed before the Christmas day (25th of December) Within the next 2 weeks, your blog will get a new Google PageRank. If you want to get a better PageRank you need to ensure that:
- You don’t have backlinks from linkfarms. Linkfarms are cheap link directories where you get many hundreds of poor quality links for 50$-100$. Even though you experience a quick increase in traffic, there is a possibility of losing all your search engine traffic due to Google ban.
- Quit from pay per post programs like ReviewMe, PayPerPost, Smorty, Sponsored Reviews, etc. Google robots don’t like them at all. Make sure that you remove your blog’s URL from these sites.
- Quit link brokering sites like TextLinkAds, LinkWorth, etc. These are born to be PageRank killers. You will lose more than you usually get from these sites.
Also if you are looking for a domain to buy, buy it before the new year. Google robots will accept it as an old domain. Old domains have more advantage compared to new ones in terms of SEO and Google PageRank.

What PR has your site here? I cannot see it. I don’t think to quite TextLinkAds, those are making me more money than Google Adsense Ads! But thank you very much for telling us about.

@ Lam Nguyen ; its not just about Google Bots . Your domain age is an advantage to get listed high rank .
Good tips. Buying text links takes some forethought. It works but you definitely don’t want all of your eggs in one basket if you decide to.
My page rank is pretty low so anything will help LOL

You can make some good money today, but always risk the big money in the future. I wish you good luck, keep on working like that, and lets meet one year later and see whose PR is improved. I am a problogger, I make my plans for the long term. I always suggest my readers what I think is the best for them in the long term.

Now that’s a shock, people trying to manipulate the system for short term success. Thanks Mert for sharing the link on that issue. It’s crystal clear to me what the rules are. People will do anything for money and overnight success. Invest in short-term fixes- don’t worry, those folks will get their reward. If your interested in hanging around for a while… think long-term but more than that, play by the freakin rules! Cheaters lose in the end.

Your domain age is important and should have more than one year before it is due expire.If less than one year renew now this is guaranteed to help in page rank .Less than one year and Google may think your website is a spam site.

I do not know if Google updates the pagerank, but I already has over 1 years with a PR4, every time Google does not put it more difficult to attract visitors to our site, Google wants all the web traffic for them, is not just be left to compete and I am trying to get by with Google Adsense.Pero really earn a pittance if you have it 5 to attract more visitors.

Wow all of this information has been very insightful by everyone. I work in SEM so alot of this SEO is somewhat new to me. I am going month by month with my website account, I guess thats the worse thing to do according to what Dan said about the age of the website. Is there anysite which predicts/takes a guess when the next Google PR update occurs. I know the last one was around new years 2009.
We have a PR of 3, it took 4 months to go 0-3. It was all about back links.

Yeah, I agree in some degree. Not only backlinks, but also having regular and unique content on the blog is essential.

I have other question. How can I get backlinks form good link directories. I am submitting my website to PR 4 websites. All the link directories I have submitted have PR 4. Will that effect my google page rank. Can you advice me on this.

Hi Rahul, it used to be once in every 3 months. But I noticed that Google PR is updated more frequently. Almost every month. Submitting your blog to link directories would definitely help. But it is better to get high quality links from established blogs and websites.
Thanks for this info i have one questions regarding this also is only the back links which matter in case of page rank or there are some other factors too and i have seen many sites ranking better than those have better PR on same keywords why this.
Thanks for the update on this, although this article is old it is still VERY relevant, the issue people tend to forget with SEO is the fact even historical changes always stay on topic. I have seen the impact of using paid bloggers.

when is the next google update? end of august?
I hearing that pr isn't really important and doesn't play a part in website rankings
so whats the point of building links for a PR?Personally I like my site to have a Pr instead of just blank at least I know im doing something right

The Next Google update should happen somewhere between August 25 – September 10th. Provide Useful content & build as many backlinks, permanent links on better ranking PR websites/Blogs. build a sound website thats about it wait for PR Updates…
