Hi Mert! Thanks for updating me about this blog post of yers. These are awesome tips about list building. I think there are so many common denominators between pro bloggers and internet marketers (because some probloggers are sideline internet marketers, and likewise internet marketers tend to be sideline probloggers).

Personally, I've done many of the tips you've mentioned, which allows me to build a steadily growing list of subscribers in my internet marketing niche. Let me add that building a list is just the first step. What's more crucial is building a solid relationship with that list. A list doesn't mean anything if the people there don't trust you, and thus they do not respond to you.

Cheers! And may you have more success with this blog! You have powerful stuff going on here. :)

Another good article. Most newbees are so excited that they get someone to sign up for their list, they start sending them affiliate emails. Or, they will start promoting their own products to the list.
Here is what I do. I don't know if it is the best way to do it, but I think it works for me.

My first email explains what they should expect from having signed up to my "mastermind" group. (Call it what you want, but make it special.) I explain why they should click on my RSS feed so that they will be apprised of each new article that I post.

Then, I send them three emails with helpful hints, links to other websites or free services that they might not be aware of. Next, I will send them one "offer" email. Then, two or more "helpful" trust building emails.

You can see that I am trying to truly help them and occasionally see if they will purchase something.

Hey Mert

Right on! It's about connecting with people and building relationships. you said, "You need to build good relationship with your readers before making any sales to them. Build trust, and never cheat your mail list. You will be rewarded sooner or later."

You hit the nail on the head, as they say here in the US. Have you heard of this saying? Keep at it! I enjoy reading your emails and posts.
