• Did you know that it is possible to post in advance by WordPress? You can easily set your own working schedule. For example you can work hard from Monday to Friday, and then post in advance at weekends. The good thing is you don’t need to login to WordPress and publish your posts. It is extremely easy to post for the future:
  • Write your post, select the categories and tags. Do not click on publish yet.
  • On the right hand side you will see Post Timestamp menu.
  • Click the box called Edit Timestamp and then set the exact time and date you want to publish your post.
  • Click Publish.
    
  • Your post will now display at the exact time and date that you setup under your post timestamp.

• Comment Relish is a great plugin i use. It increases your readership and RSS subscription rate by simply sending a short ‘thank you’ message to users when they first comment on your blog. This is a good way of welcoming your first time visitors. I highly recommend you to install this plugin if you haven’t done already.

• If you are fairly new to WordPress, there is a free reference guide which you should refer. WordPress Web 2.0 Guide is a great source for WordPress beginners. If you follow the steps written in this guide, it is likely that you will have your WordPress blog up and running in a couple of days.

• There is one more free report for WordPress beginners. How to Become a WordPress Expert Overnight The title looks ambitious, but it is really possible to get familiar with the main concepts with this free report.

• I would like to start this week with an announcement. I am glad to inform you that my review has been qualified to final round of the Best Ruff PC Review contest by The Thinking Blog. There are only 5 reviews left for the final round. One of them is John Chow’s. The prize is a good quality laptop. Last week John Chow told his readers that if they vote on him, he will give the laptop to one of them. The laptop, has no special meaning for me. I am trying to prove a small blogger can still compete against a big blogger if he develops a good network of amazing bloggers all around the globe, like you. • One year ago, when i discovered blogging, there were only a few blogs i monitor daily. Getting Out of Debt, written by Supermom, was one of them. She has posted PayPerPlay: Get Paid for Your Traffic! which you should take note of. PayPerPlay seems to be a new breakthrough in making money from blogging. I signed up already to test it. If it is worth signing up, i will surely let you know.

• Probably you have already seen his face through his Entrecard image (on the right hand side, close to the bottom)on my blog. Stephan Miller is a great blogger. I suggest you to read his last blog post Looking at Links

• Sun Tzu lovers this is for you. David Kam has published Art of War Poem e-book. The book is completely free, easy to read, and inspirational. I liked it.

I would like to thank all the amazing bloggers who have commented on my last post How I Quadrupled My Blog’s Traffic In 3 Months. Frankly speaking i did not expect this post to bring me nearly 1000 unique visitors in 2 days! So my full year assumption, and growth rates are outdated as of today. Now i expect to finish December at 5000 visits. In this case the new growth rate for December is 74 %.

Well, i am speechless. This is the best new year gift i have ever received. I am very happy to see that all my hardworking and self-sacrificing paid off by the end of the year. I am much more positive about the year 2008.

See the dramatic change in my statistics in two days time:

• The new Technorati rank of my blog is 96,541. My blog is in top 100,000 now. My blog’s authority reached to 74. There are 205 blog reactions to Search For Blogging now. 20 more incoming links in 2 days!
• New Alexa rank is 229,923. Two days ago it was only 253,520. Really nice improvement!
• RSS subscribers are around 120 now.

Actually, what makes me really happy is that thousands of bloggers understood my message. I am here to add value to your blogging. I believe knowledge grows when it is shared by heart. I know that if we unite and collaborate, it is much more easier to succeed. Please join my search for blogging and let’s rock together in 2008!
