Why Should You Write List Posts?

Check the front page of Delicious, Digg and you’ll see that much of the hottest content on the web is written in this style. Let’s take a look why list posts are powerful for bloggers:
- List posts look neat
- List posts can add to the ease of writing
- List posts can go viral
- List posts are scannable
- List posts can be comprehensive
- List posts keep posts succinct
- List posts are persuasive
- List posts break down the complicated

Nice post! Really lists is a great way to encourage conversation. Your visitors can tell if you have left off your list and what items which shouldn't be included.
The reason I like to read list posts is because it is easy to scan for information I need to know but as a writer, writing list posts is definitely easier. At least I can check if I have left out any points or not, the easy way.
Blogs should be clear and simple, List posts are one way of doing this many forget that Blogs are not Newspapers and you might pick up a boring paper to read but you will never read a boring Blog again

Now that is an idea I hadn't thought of! Yet I am a master list maker myself. Need to go make a list……
Having list post is brilliant. It makes the conversation a little more interesting in your blog post. I usually use the same technique.
Nice post.. Never really thought about list posts.. but might have to try. I have noticed that List psots do very well on twitter.
Of course this is good way to make some bullet point or list. There is many small things that matters in IM and social marketing.
The bullets are really cool to use, especially listing out ideas.
