Yes, CommentLuv blogs are good for building backlinks, since a high proportion of them are dofollow as well.

You'll also find that KeywordLuv blogs are often dofollow. (In fact, I think the proportion is even higher with this plugin.) So you should search for such blogs in your niche, and thoughtfully comment on many, if possible.

As far as I know it still works, but of course not as good as it was before…

CommentLuv is a step forward for bloggers, because it's implementation, increase automatically the number of visitors and the revenue. It's a very good idea to install this plugin. I use CommentLuv on 3 websites, with a great increase of the traffic, after installation.

very useful information , i like keyword luv blogs aswell, its good for the rankings, there is a services called comment kahuna which helps you to find all the keyword luv blogs in your related topics, i am usiing it and i found it very useful to find nice keyword luv blogs.
you can just google the search term comment kahuna and you ll find the results for it.

My own blog comment strategy revolves around doing a search on "commentluv enabled" within Google. I can then as well use a seed keyword to find posts in my niche. Works well.

I have just setup CommentLuv myself and it's clear from the feedback it is proving very useful, with a search engine to help you find blogs in your particular niche it should prove invaluable. It's early days for me yet so once it's been going for a while I'll be better able to see what this brings for me. I hope it is proving valuable to everyone here! Ronnie

I think comment luv is great and it makes commenting on blogs worhit. Maybe I should use it on my blog.

I would agree comment luv is a great plugin, if you add twitter luv and keyword luv with it you really do give people a reason to leave a comment if you add to the conversation.

I would say that has to be a key part of your commenting strategy to, 'add value'. Since I stated a commenting strategy as part of my overall Blogging strategy I have seen a definite increase in comments back to my Blog.

Great advice! I started using Comment Luv and people really ove it, if you want to build comments on your posts, which can contribute towards high page rank then this plugin has to be used.

I have used this to get backlinks but they don't last. the backlinks i got started to disapear over time.

Comment Luv is a great tool to have. I pop in a keyword and up jumps a list of blogs that I haven't visited yet. Not only do you get backlinks, but all the good advice and information that you pick up reading everyone's blog. So it's like getting 2 for 1 actually.
