Often the best bloggers to invite as guest writers are your most active commenters. These are the people who are familiar with your blog and have already contributed to your blog. They keep returning to view your blog posts because they enjoy your blog.

• Approach other bloggers who you follow on a regular basis including the ones you added in your blogroll.
• Invite well-known people in your industry. Even though they may not have their own blogs, chances are they could have done some writing in the industry magazines. These can be your colleagues and clients.
• Focus on bloggers who are interested in networking.  Usually they are also active commenters on several other blogs that you like.
• If you have enough budget, you can hire a freelance writer which will guarantee some good content.
• You don’t need to pay your guest writers. Most of them will be glad to gain the exposure and backlinks to their own blogs.
• You can also work on win-win basis, where you write on their blogs, and they do the same for you.
• Don’t expect too much from your guest writers. Let them choose a topic they feel comfortable with.
