Scour is a scam. I did my normal searching as I would on google and got worse results. Then when it was finally time to get my payout, they said I was over searching and no one would actually search that much so I got banned.

scour was always a scam. The lastest payout on their leadership board have not changed since 6 months at least and it has barely changed since 2008. And they don`t if your not from the US, your screwed cuz they don`t pay with paypal, they only have visa gift cards (that`s why no one has proof from paypal). The cash giveaway is probably a scam too. And now, their going to scam more and more ppl with their new reward program, a daily cash giveaway. Lol, how would we know if their cash giveaway is legit of not.

I don’t think were the only ones switching back to Google Mert! I eman the concept of Scour was cool and all but at the end of the day the results they show are mainly out dated and a copy of Google, MSN, and yahoo. It’s too bad they couldn’t somehow get their own results…

I got paid by SCOUR today! They have been getting many request payments so they have been overloaded with requests but be patient it is a good site!

I have been using the site for sometimes but I find the search results out of date compared to simply using Google!

I tried it, didn’t like and and again I’m using Google!

Scour is indeed a SCAM! I reached 8000 points last week. I sent them email for my cash out but they ignore me. I emailed all their contacts but no reply from all. I must be in the score leaders list but they did not put me, what is wrong! I even tried to make a comment on their blog but seems that the message is always: YOUR COMMENT IS AWAITING MODERATION. for how many days will I wait? I tried their feedback section. Only an automated email was sent to my email saying that Thank you, for your feedback! Oh my god that fedback was all negative then its all just thank you!

What a waste of time. I really get mad. Please spread the news that scour is a SCAM!

Scour is a SCAM! I agree with the “Mobile Answers” statement. Scour bans users when it comes to cashout. THEY DONT PAY A PENNY!

Having tried Scour and used it, I can say that asides from the usability problems with it (it has problems with slashes, all results are shown with ajax causing a 30 second delay in page load after the page loads that is, there is a 30 second or higher delay in getting the results), it is a giant SCAM.

Scour is a good idea by concept but fails ultimately in its ability to deliver. Having reached the payout, Scour offered to pay, but upon contacting them with payment details they decided to ignore all messages. Over the course a few days I soon realized that they never had any intention of paying, and there seems to be a pattern amongst users whereby Scour bans users who have requested payment or who have come close to cashing out.

Don’t waste your time on Scour, it’s just not worth it in the end.
