Is Technorati Dead? My Blog’s New Rank is 11,695!
Posted by Mert Erkal on Jun 2, 2008 in Blog | 3 commentsIt seems obvious that Technorati rankings are not reliable today. My blog’s new rank is calculated as 11,695. The previous rank was 16,098. Even though I am glad to see 11,695 as my new Technorati rank, I also know that it can’t be true.
I checked the blogosphere, but could not find any evidence that Technorati changed their rank calculation algorithm. I wonder whether you notice the same improvement for your own blogs. Have you checked your blog’s Technorati rank recently?

Technorati sure acts funny. Until a few days ago faves weren’t available, and right now I was requested to login without having logged out, and to claim my blogs. When I dit, it told me I already claimed them…
