Posted by Mert Erkal on Mar 4, 2008 in Blog | 7 commentsEven though February was a short month, monthly visit number continued to rise when compared to January 2008 (thanks to Bloghology!).
Visitors:
Below figures has been taken from sitemeter.com as of this morning:
By the end of March i expect to surpass 6K and hit 7K.
RSS Subscribers:
By December 27, 2007 my blog had around 100 RSS subscribers daily. Read the previous report here How I Quadrupled My Blog’s Traffic In 3 Months
In February, RSS subscribers peaked and reached to 262! The average RSS reader was 16o during the month:
Technorati Rank:
On December 27, 2007 my blog’s Technorati performance looked like below:
Technorati rank : 124,132 (Authority 60) – 185 blog reactions to Search For Blogging
Two months later, the new ranking looks like below:
Technorati rank : 21,958 (Authority 243) – 515 blog reactions to Search For Blogging
This is a major success story. However my target is to be in top 5000 by the end of 2008. Read my 2008 Goals here. If i keep improving at this pace, it seems possible to hit my goal by June 2008. We will see…
Alexa Rank:
My Alexa rank was 253,520 by December 27, 2007. Now it is 104,107. My blog will probably be listed in top 100,000 by the end of March. This is another major success story i would like to share with you. See the performance jump better below:
As my target is to make money from blogging, i am very satisfied with the increasing Alexa and Technorati rankings. As you may already know that these two key metrics are very important for making money online with your website or blog.

Why is Google PageRank missing on the list?
congrats / it’s better than last month stats
I wonder how much time you put into writing and doing maintenance on this blog, also what are your expenses for the month. Also, you didn’t fail to surpass 6k visitors in February. If you did everything you could to go out and get them, they just didn’t come to you.
@Clement: Since the last 2 months, my Google PR is 0, i am still checking the reasons, besides that i am trying to prove that you can still grow with a PR 0 blog
@Rebecca: If you read my story section of this blog, probably you will notice that my dream is earning my life from blogging. I spend at least 3 hours everyday, even though i have a 9-17 full time job. I never get tired when spending time on my blog, it is my passion. I spend only $47 usd x 6 months for Blog Mastermind, and $7,95 per month for Voda Host. Actually I surpassed 6K if i add my RSS readers into calculation. However i did not include them. My aim was to promote Bloghology, so some of the traffic went to http://www.bloghology.org. Thank you so much for your interest.
Congratulations on the growth of your blog.
Hello i m faisal your performace remarkable how i can join you and make contribution in you business but dear my blog cataloge is limited
That’s really interesting. The part I find the most interesting is the number of visitors/adsense. My traffic is between 6K-10K per month for the past 4 months, but my adsense is barely on the map. My RSS subscribers also pale in comparison. I must be doing something wrong?!?
