What is Supercool School?

Supercool School is a Facebook application that makes online learning social by democratizing the learning process and empowering everyone to demand, create and participate in live and interactive online classes.

• Download Feed Footer – WordPress Plugin v 1.1 on your computer
• Unzip the file
• Upload the unzipped feed-footer_11 folder to your wp-content/plugins folder.
• Log in to WordPress Admin. Go to the Plugins page and click Activate for the Feed Footer_11 plugin.
• Go to the Options page and click on the Feed Footer link on the submenu.
• Add HTML codes for the 10 footers.
• Please note the plugin adds footers to new posts only!

The Thinking Blog is one of the coolest blogs I have ever seen. I am a loyal reader of the blog since 2007. The blog is managed by Ilker Yoldas. Ilker is a freelance designer and media marketer from Turkey. The Thinking Blog is in Technorati Top 5K (4346 as of today) list with approximately 2250 daily RSS readers.

Since very long time I wanted to arrange a meeting with Ilker. Finally I had the privilege of meeting in Istanbul last week. We talked about our projects and spent very good time together. It was my first face to face meeting with a top blogger. I must admit I am a bit excited when talking with Ilker due to two reasons: First, Ilker was a blogger I admired at the very beginning of my blogging journey, and second during the meeting I saw the true potential of our cooperation and collaboration with Ilker.

Last Friday I joined LikeMind Istanbul event. The main purpose of LikeMind events is to come together with the people like you, and enjoy coffee and conversation. Mostly Internet entrepreneurs and Marketing oriented people join LikeMind events all around the globe. You can find the locations where LikeMind events are held through the link.

The meeting was very useful for me as a blogger who wants to earn his living from blogging. I met like minded people, and introduce them my blog and tell them about my Internet projects. I met some really smart people during the meeting, and started exchanging ideas with them from day one. You can easily understand how difficult it is to talk with someone with similar mindset as a blogger. I sometimes feel like even my close friends are looking at me like I am completely out of this world. During the LikeMind event I understood that I am not lonely. Now I am sure there are quite a few Aliens living in Istanbul.

The event was so fruitful for me that I thought I should also motivate other bloggers to join such events regularly. I have listed the 5 reasons to join social events as a blogger:
